The Area Control Classic is Back!
El Grande is finally back after nearly 30 years!
In this award-winning game, players take on the roles of Grandes in medieval Spain. The king's power is flagging, and these powerful lords are vying for control of the various regions. To that end, you draft caballeros (knights) into your court and subsequently move them onto the board to help seize control of regions. After every third round, the regions are scored, and after the ninth round, the player with the most points is the winner.
By cleverly utilising the constantly changing action cards, you will try to sabotage your opponent's strategies. Influence the king in your favour and weave intrigues to stay one step ahead of the other players. Will you win the battle for Spain and become El Grande?
This new edition includes a complete rework of the art and components. An overhauled and updated rule set, including minor improvements. Additionally, a new variant for 2 & 3 players has been added, as well as 2 new mini expansion to discover!
