Made by Adam, our local master craftsman/artist, each chess board and set of pieces is made from scratch just how you want it. The ideal uniquely personal gift for that special someone/couple on that special anniversary or event. Ideal for birthdays, wedding gifts, special occasions or maybe just for you.
Simply select one of our Custom Chess Templates below and then customise your chess set by choosing the chess board colour(s), chess piece colours and even add your own personal inlays. Inlays can be anything you wish embedded within the resin e.g., a “Happy 21st Birthday” plaque, dice, flowers, coins, ladybugs, etc. Inlays are provided by you for inclusion in the design. Based on your resin colour selection, our craftsman will select a complementary wood such as Redgum, Camphor Laurel, Rosewood, Silky Oak, Huon Pine, Blackbutt and more. If you have special requests beyond the template then we can try to accommodate these as well.

Introducing Our Local Craftsman/Artist
A self-confessed multi tasker – Adam Jacobs, business owner, husband and dad, is a very successful and talented man. Adam feels his incredibly active mind needs a channel (like a live wire into the Earth) into his love and passion around creating uniquely interesting chess boards and pieces in his off hours and evenings – so he can finally be still and find some peace with the world.
Starting with making a board for his Dad, other people saw his unique creation and wanted one made too, and so it began. Every board Adam makes is different, so no two are alike. Adam takes his inspiration and direction from you and labours to make your chess board and pieces as individual as you are. For this reason, as with any handmade product, there may be slight imperfections which brings out the chess boards character and makes them unique. While these minor imperfections may exist, Adam guarantees the build quality and that you will be thrilled with the final result.
