Classic Cornhole in Bushman Style

Cornhole is a massively popular game in the USA in which players take turns to toss bean bags at a platform with a hole near the top.  Its simple and entertaining and is ideal for that next outdoor get together.

In each round players toss 4 bags and score 1 point for each bag that lands on the board and 3 points for each bag that drops through the hole.  The player with the highest score in the round adds the number of points they scored less the number of points their opponents scored to their game tally.  e.g. If a player lands 3 bags in the hole and one on the board for a round score of 10 and their opponent lands 2 bags in the hole and 2 on the board for a round score of 8, the first player adds 2 points to their game tally before commencing the next round.    If both players score the same number of points in a single round, neither player will add any points to their game tally for that round.  First to reach total of 21 points over multiple rounds wins.

All Planet Finska premium Cornhole boards are crafted with a beautiful birchwood frame and poplar plywood playing surface which has been finished in a smooth clear varnish. Unlike generic boards, our design is such that the playing surface is neatly recessed into the frame for a neater premium look and enhanced durability. Each Bushman board has a chunky hemp rope handle for easy transport, and a new under-board chuck bag storage. 

These boards come with eight heavy duty canvas Cornhole chuck bags, each colour set in a premium zip-up storage pouch – 4 black and 4 moss. The Cornhole chuck bags comply with American Cornhole Association size and weight.

Our competition grade cornhole chuck bags are filled with calcium carbonate based pellets. Calcium carbonate is a non toxic compound found in rocks such as chalk and limestone. It is used as a component in our pellets during production to ensure that the bags meet the offical competition weight range, but also to mimic the traditional corn-filled bags of days gone by that would leave a fine layer of corn dust on the board during play. This is a deliberate feature of good quality cornhole bags and it is a sought out feature by those in the know because it improves the slipperiness of the board and allows the bags to slide during play.  So please don't worry if your bags puff a little. This is normal and the fine layer of powder will improve your cornhole experience. Pellets made entirely from plastic will not have this extra slip feature and are unlikely to be competition weight.

Size: 90x60cm  This board is 3/4 length of regulation or competition sized boards used in American Cornhole tournaments.  The height is below the regulation 30cm to preserve the correct slope of the board.
