Two rival spymasters go head-to-head in a race to uncover their secret agents, but they are going to need help. Codenames is a team-based family or party game of word association and wit. Can you lead your team to correctly guess the words of your colour while avoiding those of your opponents? Or even worse; the assassin!
The game works very well with 4 players if you prefer to guess without help. Or you can add more players if you prefer lively discussion. There is also a cooperative variant where a single team tries to achieve the highest score they can by playing against the game itself.
